Daniel Kahneman theorized that every day we experience approximately 20,000 distinct psychological moments. But how much of life am I truly present to experience?

Where am I, if not right here?

I get locked in my mind ruminating about past conversations, analyzing the past behavior of myself or others, fantasizing about what I could have said or done differently.

When I’m not doing that, I’m projecting into the future, overthinking plans, and letting anxiety hold sway.

I want to kick mental time travel to the curb.
